Europe for Citizens · Networks of Towns

Resilience, solidarity and active European citizenship.

ResiliEurope connected local authorities, civil society and citizens from across Europe to explore how territories can respond to crises while strengthening cohesion, participation and shared European values.

The project

A network built around the capacity to respond, adapt and stay united.

ResiliEurope promoted intercultural dialogue and participation in the life of the European Union by connecting the idea of solidarity with resilience. The project created a space for exchange between communities from the Mediterranean, Eastern and Northern Europe, including EU Member States and countries linked to the enlargement process.

Its work focused on how local communities, islands and territories can face social, economic and environmental challenges without weakening European cohesion.
